Just a few of my Christmas presents...

I received some wonderful gift cards to some of my favorite places. The local Food Co-Op is one of the stores we enjoy walking to with the Aspen and picking up some over priced food. My sweet brother, who is currently living in paradise, sent me a necklace made out of Hawaii's native wood. He gave Will one also, so we can be all matchy matchy. I was given too many Glee soundtracks, I am beyond excited, but I think Will might not share the same excitement. Claire sent me this fabulous bag. I can not describe how much I love it. I have already used it several times and can not wait to use it again and again. My lovely husband gave me the corduroy Toms. He scrambled to try and find a pair since they sold out within a few days. Oh, the labors of love, ha.

Oh, and those other pictures?? Well they might have been one of my favorite presents of all. What is a better gift than exercise videos to get me through the next six months?? Well maybe a picture of the little booger that will be growing inside of me for the next six months. We should get to me the newest addition around July 14 (also my one and only brother's birthday).

Yes, this does mean I am pregnant. My dad did not appreciate the subtle clues when I announced the news to him either.

So there you have it. My big "secret." The reason I have not blogged, besides the whole camera being broken thing. (Which, my mom supplied the new camera to take all those pictures with, thanks mom!!) It is a struggle for me to not speak what is on my mind and this little "thing" has been on my mind a lot. So hopefully the blog will be up and running again.

Our Christmas was a bit different this year because we stayed in Bozeman and our families got to come up to see us. My mom left yesterday and had a horrible time getting back to TX and Will's family is still here. I really loved having everyone up here, but I will be glad for a more "normal" Christmas next year.

One of the many benefits of having our mothers here was that they got to see the ultrasound take place. The heart was pounding away at 170 beats per minute. The neatest part was seeing the little guy/it/thing/girl/whatever, put its hands up to its mouth and begin sucking. We could clearly see the throat swallowing, it was crazy. They also kept flailing around, which I found quite humorous. I know that this happens to everyone who is pregnant, but it is a fairly new thing to me and still pretty strange.

So I am glad that is out in the open. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure enjoyed our first White Christmas.
